The hidden shop Goldfinch is located at 2 Shin Hing Street, Central.  As the name suggests, the interior is decorated with paintings of a migratory bird called Goldfinch, flying around like the French Cordon Bleu chef in charge of the restaurant, blending Chinese and Western food culture, a collection of specialties, bringing the best to diners.

This French-style shop is two floors high.  It specializes in French cuisine, adding Asian elements, cook out fusion dishes with excellent smell and taste.  The chef graduated from Le Cordon Bleu in Paris and has traveled to restaurants all over the world, even the barista has the second highest honor in the world.  The restaurant is a “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon”.

The must-try signature dish of the restaurant is Zhanjiang Chicken, which is modified from the French cooking method.  Just the steps to cook “Zhanjiang Chicken” are already very complicated.  Firstly, marinate it with traditional French spices overnight, air-dry for several hours, then slow-cook, pan-fry the skin.

The “soul” of French cuisine lies in the sauce.  Even though the location is relatively remote, there are still many customers who like it, all because of the atmosphere, taste and service all together.
