As we all know, academic pressure is high in Hong Kong. In order to cheer up DSE candidates, a restaurant decided to open its doors for students to study during the afternoon tea period for free. This heartwarming gesture won praise from the neighbors.

ULURU HK, a restaurant in Wan Chai, announced on social media that if DSE candidates cannot find a place to study, they can study in the restaurant from 2:30pm to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday, free of charge.

“Use it as you like, don’t worry, this is an advertisement.  We don’t use it during this period, but we want to share it with you.”  The restaurant will not be open during this period.  The owner believes that instead of wasting space, it is better to give back to the community, and just show with your student ID card, the restaurant will also give you a free drink and dessert, gaining popularity and cheering up students.  This strategy kills two birds with one stone.
