To Kwa Wan’s 40-year-old Western restaurant Gordon Burger reopens
“Goteborg Restaurant“, a steakhouse with 40 years history in To Kwa Wan, announced its closure on March 31 this year. However, after only three months, the restaurant announced that it will return to its original location with a new look on August 10. Currently, scaffolding has been erected in front of the restaurant, the neon sign remains unchanged as before. A notice was posted on the renovated wooden boards, stating that it would be “returning with a new look” and thanking the owners for allowing the restaurant to reopen.
According to the latest announcement, the operating company is called “ Goteborg Restaurant Group”, and the original owner will serve as a consultant to the group. He said that his rich experience and excellent management skills will provide valuable assistance for the restaurant’s reopening. The notice expressed special thanks to “all landlords” for their understanding and support, and said that being able to open again around this location is all thanks to the landlords’‘ understanding.
