The popular Japanese restaurant Hikiniku has announced that it will open a branch in Hong Kong.  The opening date is May 7th and will be located at IFC in Central.  Everyone should bookmark an “auspicious day” to fill up your stomach!

Hikiniku was introduced by Simon Wong Kit-lung, the owner of LH GROUP LTD., and was implemented as early as October last year.  The restaurant has three main principles, those are “freshly minced meat, freshly grilled, and freshly cooked.”  The aim is to use 100% Japanese beef to make hamburger steaks and grind the meat on site every day.

The proportion of lean meat and beef fat in the hamburger steak will be determined according to the formula specified by the Japanese restaurant president Yamamoto. The hamburger steak will be patted with a unique gesture, freshly grilled in front of the customer, and delivered to the customer as soon as possible. To ensure quality, the restaurant only sells one set meal. Each set meal comes with three pieces of charcoal-grilled beef burger steaks, each weighing about 90 grams, served with rice, miso soup and eggs.

Please note that during the opening period, all seats will be taken by picking up tickets on-site on the same day.
